Confirmation is a two-year educational and pastoral
ministry of the church, which helps a youth identify more deeply with the
Christian Community and participate more fully in its mission. It is
preparation not only for life in the Church, but also for life itself.
Students attend Sunday School as well as the "Third Sunday" Small Group
Sessions with adult guides and other students (held following the late
service on the 3rd Sunday of the month). Students are also required to
attend Sunday worship where they will serve as an acolyte, crucifer or torch bearer.
Each semester, students will participate in a Field Trip and Service
Project. Examples include attending worship at a local Synagogue
and cooking/serving a meal for the Salvation Army.
